Modular Home and Panelized Building Systems

Modular and panelized homes are the homes of the future, built for quality in factories utilizing cutting edge technology. The latest innovations in modular construction and panelized building systems technology has made it possible to build a stronger, more energy efficient home, addition, or commercial building in a shorter time frame than the traditional stick built building process. Whether you are looking to build your dream home, add onto your existing home or build a commercial building, Berkshire Home Works can help you with your project from start to finish.

Although Modular and Panelized Home Systems come in many styles and designs allowing for a wide variety of standard floor plans, we at Berkshire Home Works are able to accommodate many other custom and unique designs. Having this flexibility allows us the ability to tailor your new home to your requirements and gives you the opportunity to build the home of your dreams.

Berkshire Home Works is a full service builder with a Construction Licensed Supervisor and a licensed Real Estate Broker. We are able to provide all the services you may need to move in to your new home; from the purchase of property to the finish work and landscaping of your new home. If you don’t currently have property to build on, Berkshire Home Works will assist you in finding the right property for your new home and can represent you as a buyer’s broker to enable that transaction to take place. We will work as the owner’s representative with the purchase of your modular or panelized home and will work as the Construction Supervisor and Clerk of the Works to bring the entire home building project to fruition.

Purchasing a modular or panelized home allows for cost savings in almost every area of the building and financing process.  Here's how:

Bulk Material Purchases: Modular and panelized home companies purchase lumber and brand name materials in huge quantities directly from their material suppliers resulting in lower project costs.

Less Waste: Recycling, plus warehousing materials in a secure environment with protection from weather and job site theft, lowers costs.
Building Technology: Precision equipment and efficient material handling result in more accurate construction with fewer mistakes and lower costs.

Quality Control: Modular and panelized homes are built to the building code required by the state you live in. They are inspected by the manufacturer, our Construction Specialist, local qualified building inspectors and of course, you as the owner. This results in higher quality, fewer construction errors and lower costs.

Construction Time Period: Modular homes are delivered to the job site about 90% complete and panelized systems are about 50% complete on arrival; therefore, total construction time is greatly reduced, incurring less cost and quicker occupancy.

Buyers are recognizing that the traditional stick built approach might not be the best homebuilding choice for their needs. Increasingly, homes are being erected using a modular or panelized building system; construction techniques that utilize advanced technology, advanced quality materials, and a controlled work environment to build an energy-efficient and durable home in less time.
